I am a pastor currently serving Hope Lutheran Church in beautiful Jordan Minnesota. My deepest passion is for proclaiming the good news of God’s love and grace and my favorite way of doing that is through songs. I have been writing and performing since 1974 in a variety of musical styles.  Instruments I play include: acoustic and electric guitars, mandolin, banjo, lap steel and resonator guitar, bass, keyboards, percussion, and I sing.

Woodworking is another hobby.  Over the years I have built several of the instruments that I use.  I have also built quite a bit of furniture.

Seven cds have emerged from my small recording studio so far and I’m working on number eight now.  It takes about a year to write the songs and arrangements and record all the parts for each one.  I have posted  many sample mp3s in the “original music” category on this site.

My best friend and marriage partner, Deb, has put up with me since 1977. We have four kids – all adults now,  a beautiful grandson and granddaughter.

Welcome to my site.  My intention here is to share my songs and projects with whoever might be interested.
